Need a cherry slab from Charlotte to durham

Hi - I am new to community.
a friend suggested that I post a note to ask if anyone if coming to or through the durham area from Charlotte. I have located a cherry slab...it's only about 4 feet by 2 feet. I will pay gas or a fee if someone is willing to pick up the slab in charlotte and drop in durham.
thanks so much,
call me at 919 949 4061

Hi Ron,

Glad you're getting the wood you need.

Welcome to the North Carolina Woodworker's site. This is as good as websites get. Terrific folks here. How about you start another thread and tell us a bit about yourself. What kind of woodworking do you like to do? What kind of a shop do you have? What are you going to do with all that cherry you're getting from Kyle?

We also love photos here. Be sure to establish a photo album and post some of your work.

Ray

Re: Need a cherry slab from Charlotte to durham

Ron,

welcome! Kyle is a regular poster here, and always has great wood! I just wish he wasn't nearly a four hour drive from me. LOML would not appreciate my leaving for 9-10 hours to spend that much money without her direct input.

Ron, welcome to the site. What are you going to make out of that cherry slab? Be sure to request a photo album and post pictures - we love pictures!
