Hi! I'm Mike Bomar. I live in Willow Spring, Johnston co., But can reach out the window and almost touch Wake and Harnett co. at the same time.
I've been with SWMBO for 20 years. With her patience and my help, we have raised two teenage boys. These young men don't need dear old dad quite so much anymore. This is a double edge sword. I finally have time for my hobbies. My kids don't share my interest in wooddorking and this makes me a little sad. When I was their age ( I sound like an ol geezer ) I didn't want to hang out with my dad either.
I really enjoy woodturning, but plan to expand my horizons. Construction will begin soon on a new workshop. I'd like to start making furniture and need the room for this.
Ive been lurking here for about a month and think this is a great source for info and sometimes just plain entertainment!!
