Happy New Year!

New to forum. Love the site. Been working with wood for over 30 years. Industrial Arts background. Had my own custom fabrication shop in Va. Beach back in the 80's. Got hitched, moved to NC to teach Shop. Now it's all changed, they took away my machines and gave me computers and put a fancy name on it. I'll never give up. Still find time to work at home building furniture, carving, and refinishing. It keeps me out of trouble.

Re: Happy New Year!

Welcome! My 8th grade shop teacher is responsible for my love of woodworking. Too bad they squelched the opportunity for other young people. I hope you enjoy our forums as much as I.

Re: Happy New Year!

WELCOME, I don't have anything witty to add other than what has already been stated...dang you miss a lot when you work late in the shop. I look forward to your input in the forums and seeing some pics of your craftsmanship.
