Thanks for stopping by yesterday. It was great meeting you, and I really appreciated the pen blanks. We showed him John's workbench and around our shop. Hopefully we'll get time to visit longer in the future. Thank your wife for both of us for allowing you to escape for a few minutes!

Has any of Sap's hair had a chance to grow back since he attended DavidF's plane blade sharpening class?

Whoa! D L--I kept my cap on in order to not scare the dogs.

It was truly a brief visit, but John and Cathy were very gracious to give me a quick shop tour. I really would have liked to stay longer, because I had lots of questions about their shop setup. Apparently John has some creative and well executed ideas about cabinets, lumber storage, router tables, and of course the really awesome workbench. That sucker is gonna last several lifetimes

And of course, Cathy's pens exceeded expectations. They were also working on some nifty pen cases/boxes to store and display them.

I'll make no comments on John's avatar or any resemblance thereof. However, I can definitely confirm that both John and the dog smoke cigars.

So thanks for the hospitality, and Cathy I'm really jealous of your Sjoberg (sp?) workbench too!
