Re: Storms

Wake Forest got a lot of rain and some wind. Further east took the brunt of it.

Re: Storms

I'm sure by now you all have heard of the twister that set down in Reigelwood NC early this morning. Reigelwood is 20 minutes west of Wilmington on 74/76. In Wilmington, I wasn't directed affected by it but we had some folks at work that lost kin in the devastation.

Re: Storms

Sorry to hear that, Striker.

I was travelling on business and my wife informed me that the windows were rattling like crazy that night at our place in Stanley....sure enough, next day was reported an F1 touched down at the intersection of 16/73 just outside our development! No loss of life or property that I'm aware of, the path took it away from our development and out toward the lake.

Hope everyone else came out okay.

Re: Storms

Okay here (Wallace area), lots of wind and rain and some weird clouds. Reigelwood really got hit hard. Thanks for asking.

Re: Storms

Thanks for the concern, but everything is OK in Wilmington. Like Striker said, Reigelwood is about 20 min. drive from here, and they got a pretty bad hit.
