Re: off topic my other thing

Ever get an opportunity to combine the stone cutting or silver work into the wood projects? I have read about people looking for silver worksmanship in their pens they turn.

Wow, cool, how do you cut the stones. Is it more of a grinding than actually cutting? Boy if I could only make jewelry I could fill that massive jewelry box I made for my wife.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Cool Earl. I have a guy that works with me that does this. He lives in Las Vegas now, but is always out hunting rocks, er specimens.

Re: off topic my other thing

John (stoneskippers) used to cut cabechons and also did really nice work. His arthritis in his thumbs got too bad and he had to quit. Those look great!
