My Latest Project

Here is something I always wanted to do, and never got around to. I got the inspiration after seeing one posted by another member here.

Re: My Latest Project

Did you make the arms too? What wood did you use for the grip? Any WIP?

Looks great and I hope it shoots straight!

Yes-I built it all.

The limbs are hard maple w/fiberglas, and the riser (handle section) is Cocobola.

Looks great and I hope it shoots straight!
Thanks, and as a matter of fact, it is almost point-on at 40 yards. I appreciate the comments.

Thanks for looking,

No Dennis.
The other way around. I actually gave up deer hunting, (and dear hunting ) a long time ago. I have always loved archery.

That's amazing work, Dave. I probably shouldnt have seen it tho, I'm a sucker to try new things. Was it a long process?

Thanks Ken,
It wasn't that long a process. Getting set up to do it took the time. Had to build a laminating oven, a mold, etc. But once you get these things done, you can "Rock n Roll".
Here's a link that will tell you all you need to know. It's where I got my materials.
