Back in December DavidF offered a free door for anyone that wanted it and peteb301 picked it up shortly after it was offered. Pete decided it wasn't what he needed at the time so he offered it to me. I just got home from Pete's son's house where we made the exchange.

It was a nice visit and I would like to thank Pete for bringing it to Charlotte from Cary. I'll be turning the door into an assembly table/bench top. By the way....I'm on the right with my daughter Katie (a.k.a. future woodworker)

Well, I hope that gift opens new doors for you!

Sorry - bad joke.

I talked with Pete last night and he helped persuade me to drive the extra miles and go to Wall Lumber. He was right. I saved 180 dollars over buying the stock locally.

Glad you had a good visit.

Chuck

Ah, woodworkers are an attractive lot, aren't they. Looks like all party's were happy, altho Katie doesn't seem too sure about the camera!

I'm glad the door ended up in good hands. The thread title had me worried there for a moment; I thought I was in some sort of trouble!!

She was having fun playing with Pete's grandchildren and their dog. She didn't really want to take a break for a silly picture of a door.
