Name: Mike Hall City: Indian Trail State: NC County: Union Join Date: Feb 2006 Avg Visit Freq/Week = 6.69 over 180 days | Back in December DavidF offered a free door for anyone that wanted it and peteb301 picked it up shortly after it was offered. Pete decided it wasn't what he needed at the time so he offered it to me. I just got home from Pete's son's house where we made the exchange.
It was a nice visit and I would like to thank Pete for bringing it to Charlotte from Cary. I'll be turning the door into an assembly table/bench top. By the way....I'm on the right with my daughter Katie (a.k.a. future woodworker)

Sorry - bad joke.
I talked with Pete last night and he helped persuade me to drive the extra miles and go to Wall Lumber. He was right. I saved 180 dollars over buying the stock locally.
Glad you had a good visit.

Looks like all party's were happy, altho Katie doesn't seem too sure about the camera! She didn't really want to take a break for a silly picture of a door.
