I was changing my DC bag today & forgot to put on a dust mast. Yep, ended up with a snootful of dust. When this happens I pull out the SinuCleanse and wash it out. Makes me feel much better. I also use it when I have any sort of sinus congestion - it really works for me.

See link below to for a demo. I know it looks weird. The sensation is somewhat like when you jump into water without holding your nose but not that extreme. It does take a bit of getting used to.

looks kind of like waterboarding, to me.....

or just about as pleasant an experience as I had when I opened the door to the CS (chemical smoke - AKA tear gas) chamber, without a mask on, not having realized the person operating the chamber was already stoking the chamber.

why they call that stuff tear gas? I don't recall shedding to many tears when exposed to it, they should call it SNOT and CHOKE gas.

I use something similar during allergy season. Helps out a lot.

My wife uses a "Sea Salt" and water mixture to wash out sinuses. Apparently helps. Much cheaper than a doctor's visit.

The misses will use it and I've tried but all the sensations work on the gag reflexes pretty close to what Pete described.
