According to "lore" of my southern childhood:
"Kill a snake and hang it on a fence and it will rain in two days"
Roger Would a lizard work I found one on the living room floor today, courtesy of one of our cats. I can find a fence to hang it on
If not I'll send them out after a snake

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

WOW! Over eight miles up. Also showed a 100% possibility of hail up to 1.75 inches in diameter. That would put a dent in the top of the old wood hauler. Of course most of it melts on the way down. Imagine throwing a hard snowball for eight miles. |

Make a tripod out of timbers. Lash the ends together or use some duct tape. Suspend a giant bolder from the center of the tripod, much like a pot would be hanging over a campfire.
How to use:
1. If the rock is wet, it is raining.
2. If the rock is hot and dry, the sun is out on a hot day.
3. If the rock is covered in snow, it is snowing...
This is the only way to truly know the weather... |

It's hard to read a hooty owl but they do seem pretty accurate at perdicting changes in the weather. Plus they are great at keeping the snakes down, kind of cool if you think about it...
Wonder if I could build a hooty owl house? I would name it hooters

Wonder if I could build a hooty owl house? I would name it hooters We have been getting hot sun and then rain. So how does the Hooty decide what a "change" is? Main ones I have been hearin' here have been the Great Horned variety down in the swamp, and they hoot most every night.
