In taking down our Christmas decorations my wife and I decided to just disassemble our Christmas tree and store it until next year.

Does anyone see a problem with this?

The disassembly is going fine, but I don't think it will keep until next year.

Nothin a little green paint, bailing wire and duct tape can't fix.

Is this just a stealth Sawzall gloat???
Make sure you use Anchorseal on the cut ends to prevent checking until next season

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

No, no gloat. It was all done with a pair of pruning shears. I'll make note of the Anchorseal.

If you remember I got a Porter Cable combo compressor and brad nailer for Christmas so it will get a work out next Christmas.

Mike, LOML does the same thing every year. In fact, she did it today
The greenery will last longer than you think. We place some of the branches in a water bucket to make them last longer. She makes arrangements for inside the home that add a fresh aroma. The one below currently resides on the deck. It's Xmas tree Frasier Fir, Magnolia, dried sedum flowers, and whatever. It's still looks fresh a month later
