I have been having a hormone imbalance problem. The most common cause is a tumor on the pituitary gland. My wifes father had a spot on the back of his eye that was thought to be a melonoma (sp?). Last week I had a MRI of the pituitary gland. Monday, doctor calls and says no tumor. On Tuesday, we spend most of the day at the Duke Eye Clinic- no cancer in FIL's eye. What more could we ask for for Christmas? Bruce

Sounds like a double celebration! Good news at a good time of year. That's fantastic for both of you and your family.

That's awesome Bruce! Best wishes to you and your family.
On a similar note, my close friend just underwent surgery yesterday to remove a tumor from his pituitary gland. The prognosis is good as the surgery was a success and the tumor, although massive, was benign!

So this truly is the season for miracles!

Bruce, double congrats, that is excellent news. I can't imagine how hard that must have been, not knowing and fearing the worst. Sometimes the best gifts are those that don't come wrapped.

I agree with Bas whole heartedly!

We often take our health for granted, until something like this wakes us up. My recent problems with hernia, cancer and heart surgery made me realize what a blessing it is to be healthy. I am thankful every day I wake up!

Be grateful everything worked out for you and your FIL. I hope you and your family are especially thankful this holiday, and I wish you continued good health.

Take care,
