Looks good to me. If it works for you that's all that counts.

I like the design, but I think the wide parts of the "J" seem a little heavy.

Yep. I have to agree. Could you change the "J" to be thinner? It just seems bulky.

Jon,

Very clean, straightforward, easy to read / understand, tells the story. I do like it. I also agree with the other posters about the "J" being a little bit off. I'd suggest longer on the lower portion so it can't be mistaken for any other letter and thinner on the top to give it more balance with the rest of the lettering. All in all, I think you have a great sign.

Ray

When you make the J thinner, maybe you can find room to add "Horseshoeing For Cash Only". No wait, that's been taken by someone ( I forget who ), maybe you should try

Just to be contrary, I disagree with everyone else on the "J" width. It's prominent and easy to distinguish now, whereas thinner may look too much like a design accent. my .02

It looks good. I agree that some fine tweekin may be needed, but you are on the right track. Where is this logo going?
