Dave helped me out on a little home maintenance problem I had and I want to throw him some more thanks here in the forum as we hooked up here again after meeting some time back. Dave told me about the forum back in 2005 and said I should take a look at it. Glad I did. Nice to see you again Dave and meet your beautiful daughter!!

One thing I forgot. Should you have taken the old unit? Is there a core value to those things other than what little brass is in them?

Thanks again.
Tom

Tom, you're most welcome. It was my pleasure to help you out. It was also good to see you again. About the only value I know of for the old one is as a boat anchor, there are a couple very heavy duty springs in it, that could be used for something

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
