I sit down and place an order. Then I wait for it to arrive. Why did I choose that slow free shipping? Wife says "UPS left you a package today. What did you buy this time?" After explaining what is in package and why I needed it, I can hardly wait to open package. Yet I know exactly what is in package. It is almost like Christmas morning again. I guess that UPS is better than Santa, in that it comes several times a year. Always on the look out for the big brown truck. Bruce

I did a similar thing this week; ripped the packaging open only to find my new dovetail saw was on back order! all I got was a bottle of camillia oil

It is like Santa coming. Sometimes the free shipping comes USPS as well. I haven't really bought anything in a couple of months, but I do feel the fever coming on. Kind of waiting for Woodcraft to open.

Woodcraft can now open, as I will have to wait a year to get my birthday month discount. November is almost history.

Bruce:

I ordered a copier once from Provantage in the afternoon and it arrived the next morning from Philadelphia and I chose the least expensive ground freight-that was almost scary.

David, I had a similar experience when I built the turbine for my HVLP sprayer. Closest Grainger that had blower in stock- Tallihasssie FLA. Ordered it in afternoon, and next morning it was on back porch before ten AM. Came ground- supposedly. Kinda glad I wasn't riding in that truck.

Know the feeling! I missed "Buster Brown" by 3 MINUTES Friday evening, and they had my new sliding miter saw! Sure would like to have had it this weekend, but there's always Monday.
