Hey folks! Check out my wife's latest woodworking masterpiece!

Bananawood of this quality is very hard to find and choosing exactly the right piece is imperative! Shaping is even tougher and one little slip could result in you having, well, a facefull of banna pudding!

One consolation though .... ya can eat your mistakes!

Did she use a special router bit to make the top or did she just use a gouge? Thats the kind of project I could finish off real nice with a glass of ice tea.

I seem to recall an article in I believe it was Wood magazine about texturing surfaces with a router. Did she use a little Bosch Colt to create that top? Sure is pretty – State Fair material!
