Very cool, trees really are awesome things.
This is a picture of one of my personal favorites right here in NC. It's old growth Tulip Poplar.





No comment on the hair, it was old growth too...I was still in college, and my wife was just my girlfriend.

I know, read too much of his poetry in a literature class some time ago. His career was cut short by the 'Great War'. His time in France encouraged a few other writers, whose names I have since forgotten, but were also quite notable in their day.
