Was in Advanced Auto - picking up some oil and filters. There was a display that caught my eye. The Box said "We captured the Sun" 17.5 million candle power flash light made in China $39.88. I thought to myself - cool - picked one up and took it to the counter. Reading the box I saw nothing about a warranty, opened the box took out the little paper, gave it a quick scan saw nothing about a warranty. So I asked the counter lady, she looked it up on the computer, computer said "No Warranty Available" So I said if I buy this light take it home charge the battery turn it on and it don't work, it's mine? She said Yep, but you could see if there is a manufactures warranty. I said yeah right, all the way in China? You've got to be kidding. I what call up china and they say Jeff-san you take flashlight and stick up your _ _ _!!! we go now... The counter lady doubled over laughing and everyone else who heard me did too, I must admit it was pretty funny. But it's really sad, so now we not only get cheep junk but cheep junk without a warranty? What gives?

Needless to say - I said to the counter lady - you can keep your sun in a box. To bad there is no warranty, cause I was going to buy it... I wanted to use it to tan myself.

Here's the linky... http://www.shoplocal.com/default.asp...ryPageOption=0

I don't know if this is a one time occurrence or the start of a new trend, but you know Jeff-san will look for Made In China warranty from now on.

Thanks

Thinking about spotlighting deer??? You would at least think that the store would stand behind a product that they sell...at least to the point that it works when you get it home
Jeff-son, you're getting cynical in your old age

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
