I spent the better part of the day hanging at Fred's shop. I went over to learn how he makes those nice boxes! He was a great teacher and showed me his box making skills. Here is what we came up with in it's unfinished form.
Spalted wood that I reclaimed from a pallet (looks like Oak) and a piece of White Oak crotch wood from Fred's scrap bin. Keys are made from Bacote.    Thanks again Fred. Let me know how you like that Fingernail/Irish grind.
