Does anyone have an idea of how much it costs to have a meter panel and ckt. bkr. panel installed?

Re: Question?

I am far from an expert, but I would assume that the power company would install the meter panel since they will be making more money off of it. as for the breaker panel, assuming no branch circuit wiring, maybe $400-500? Again, I have no real world experience to back that up so take it for what its worth.

Re: Question?

The power company around here has stopped installing the meter base. You have to have it installed. You need someone who has a license to so the work and you need to buy a permit. Usually bought by the electrician. Cost would be dependent on the size and complexity of the install. In your new shop it shouldn't break the bank since everything is wide open.

Good luck and keep us posted.
