I was up early Friday morning with money burning a hole in my pocket...Met a few members, McRabbet was doing a Worksharp demo. Sorry I didn't get to say hello to him. Talked quite a while with one member (a young fellow with a beard? Froglips?)...whomever. I really enjoyed talking with that fellow! Talked with Tom Hintz and his wife for a good while. Always run into Tom each year. Spent some time looking at Kyles goodies! Some very nice stuff! All in all had a great time! Purchased 2 more 12" Jet clamps, a add-on for my Grripper and ate some apples. My first booth I stopped at was a klingspor booth with a neat little handsander that conforms to the shape you are sanding (air bladder)...anyway I ran off and forgot to get one. Now I'll need to run to the store and get one at full price. Would be handy sanding the bullnose molding on a cabinet I'm finishing. Petted the Powermatic drill press and looked at all the cool tools and displays in our section. I want that drill press! Thanks to Klingspor and North Carolina Woodworker for a nice day! |

Truths: There is no such thing as a 25 hour day, so why do I keep trying to cram so much into every day so it seems that way!
