So the HF in Charlotte on Indepence is moving.

They are currently in a terrible location, IMHO, very hard to get to. So I'm glad they are moving, the only real concern I see is that it's right on my way home every night and I could see that being a real financial drain.

But aside from that issue, I'm also thinking there may be a day or two when screaming deals coudl be had if you knew when they are actually moving.

Some stuff they may want to unload at cost or less rather than truck it to the new store.

Anybody been in there lately and have the inside scoop on the timeline of the move?

I always wondered how long they'd stay at that wasteland - the whole place needs to be bulldozed.

Do you know where they're moving to?

i remember talking to a manager there a few years ago who told me he liked being there because they got to close at dusk which meant real short days part of the year.

Can you imagine packing & moving a store like that?!?!?!? I think they should just have a "bag" sale or something.

Near Best Buy? That's about equidistant to the Woodcraft for me. I also go there with nothing in mind to buy and end up with a couple bags of "stuff"
Oh well... I'll suffer through it.
