Happy Halloween everyone!
This is yet another day that makes me realize that I am now old. It used to be tricker treating, getting candy, causing mischief, etc, then the infamous halloween parties. Now, we're just hanging at the house giving out candy to the neighborhood kids. I guess I won't come full circle until I'm following my own kids around tricker treating, but I feel like I'm a step closer.

One lesson learned today: Don't go out looking for a pumpkin on Halloween day. Everywhere in town was sold out. We eventually found one at the Fresh Market of all places. One of their last three. But we spent a solid 2 hours looking for one.

Anyway, share some of your halloween pictures and stories, past or present. Hope you all are having a fun night!

Me dressed up as Norm (BRIEFLY, it was so hot down here I was sweating)

This is our pumpkin. If we wouldn't have spent all afternoon looking for it I would've had time to do something more artistic, but I ended up modeling it after one of our own smilies:

Re: Halloween Pics/Stories?

I spent most of my day doing woodworking-related things ... like the Klingspor show, visiting Klingspor Hickory, and then a trip to The Woodworking Source in Mooresville. After all that I ... well, the picture tells the story.

And of course, we took the kids out later in the day.

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.
