Happy Halloween everyone!

This is yet another day that makes me realize that I am now old. It used to be tricker treating, getting candy, causing mischief, etc, then the infamous halloween parties.

Now,

we're just hanging at the house giving out candy to the neighborhood kids. I guess I won't come full circle until I'm following my own kids around tricker treating, but I feel like I'm a step closer.
One lesson learned today: Don't go out looking for a pumpkin on Halloween day.

Everywhere in town was sold out.

We eventually found one at the Fresh Market of all places. One of their last three. But we spent a solid 2 hours looking for one.
