I wasn't quite sure where to post this...

Can anyone recommend an electrician or company in the Durham area that will handle a small electrical job? I need to have a few outlets added to my garage and am also thinking about having a 220v circuit run as well.

Re: Electrician needed

I've used Quality electric for small jobs. They are reasonably priced and I've known the owner for many years.

You can save some money

by having the electrician run the wires and you completing the finish work. Connecting and running the wires is not hard, but this summer I also had an electrician from a local company run and connect several new 220V circuits. I then put in the outlet boxes, outlets and covers. Saved some money that way.

Adding the new circuits also required the electrician to take some of the existing circuits and put them on mini-breakers, so that the added circuits would all fit. The panel easily handled the load, but whoever had originally wired the box, made all of the outlets and lights into many more circuits than needed. Having an electrician quickly figure this all out, and solve it, made the job safer and quicker than me doing it.

Good luck.
