Hello All;

I'm currently reading a fascinating (to me) book, simply entitled "Wood", by Harvey Green, who is a history Professor at Northeastern University in Boston, and a woodworker who has a shop in rural New Hampshire.

I'm about 40% through it, but find it most interesting, as Mr. Green has much to say about how wood has been used over the years, and what has driven many sorts of craftsmen to do things the way they did.

For what it's worth, I wanted to recommend the book for those interested in the history of woodworking. I see that it is available on Amazon.

John
