We are getting a new bedroom set, yes I know I SHOULD be making it, but I haven't this kind of skill...yet!
Anyway, I am looking to clean it before I sell it. I know it's teak, but I want to know the proper way to clean it. I have already tried mineral spirits but it just won't get whatever that "gunk" is off.
It appears to be finished with Teak Oil or something like it.

Teak oil is evil (in a good way). It penetrates then hardens. So its really tough stuff.

Feel better?

Might help to see some pics and some colorful descriptions of the "gunk".
