Take a moment to go to this site and click on a star. This tip was from an NC Woodworker!

Re: Vote for a Tip!

I wonder who that North Carolina Woodworker could be

Be careful clicking on the stars, I just clicked on them in the center thinking it would open a new window where I could make my vote. I ended up casting a 3 out of 6 Shoot for the far right side

Honestly Honey, that will cost around $100 $150 $200, and I need a few more tools.

Re: Vote for a Tip!

If you want to stop the ROS, all you have to do is put it on a rag and that works.

Re: Vote for a Tip!

I agree with JimmyC.

I use a 10" chunk of thick pile carpet with underpad glued to it rubber side down.

Just set the ROS on it and walk away. It hardly moves the pad even when it's running!

Re: Vote for a Tip!

You got my vote Joe. Although I usually just set it down at a fairly vacant spot on the workbench and let it go for a walk.
